We specialize in handcrafted wooden bowls and turned wooden pieces that celebrate the natural beauty and individuality of wood.

These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through our website and the use of its content.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

2. Handcrafted Products

Every piece offered by Desert Wind Limited is individually crafted using a combination of traditional woodworking techniques, hand tools, machinery, and finishing processes.

Because wood is a natural material, each piece possesses unique characteristics.

Variations in grain patterns, color, texture, knots, and natural markings are expected and contribute to the individuality of each item.

Natural wood may also respond to changes in temperature, humidity, and environmental conditions over time.

These natural characteristics do not automatically constitute defects.

However, this provision does not exclude responsibility for defective workmanship, inaccurate product descriptions, or products that arrive damaged.

3. Product Descriptions and Photography

We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent each product through photographs, measurements, and written descriptions.

Actual colors and appearances may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, screen settings, and the natural characteristics of wood.

Customers are encouraged to review product descriptions, dimensions, intended uses, and care instructions before purchasing.

4. Product Availability

All products currently offered through our website are completed, ready-made pieces.

Many items are individually crafted and available in limited quantities.

Adding an item to a shopping cart does not guarantee its availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer and issue a refund for the unavailable item.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.

Full payment is required at checkout through our website's available payment methods.

Standard shipping within the contiguous United States is included in the listed product price.

Applicable sales taxes, if any, will be displayed during checkout.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a pricing error affects an order, we will contact the customer before proceeding and provide the option to accept the corrected price or receive a refund.

6. Orders and Cancellations

Customers may request to cancel an order within 48 hours of purchase by emailing desertwindlimited@gmail.com with their name and order number.

Cancellation requests received within this 48-hour period will be accepted, provided the order has not already shipped. Accepted cancellations will receive a full refund to the original payment method.

After 48 hours, all orders are considered final, and cancellation requests will not ordinarily be accepted.

Nothing in this policy limits cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law, including those relating to delayed shipments, non-delivery, defective products, or unauthorized transactions.

7. Shipping

Desert Wind Limited currently ships within the contiguous United States.

Orders are generally prepared for shipment within 5–10 business days after payment confirmation.

Business days exclude weekends and recognized U.S. federal holidays.

Shipping transit times vary depending on the carrier and destination.

Processing times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Customers will be informed of material delays and provided any cancellation or refund options required by applicable law.

8. Returns and Refunds

All sales are final except when an item arrives damaged, is defective, is materially different from its description, or when a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

We do not accept returns based solely on a change of mind, personal preference, or expected natural variations in wood characteristics that were reasonably disclosed.

9. Product Use and Care

Our products may be intended for decorative purposes, functional use, or both.

Each product's intended use depends on its design, wood species, and applied finish.

Customers should follow any care instructions provided with their purchase.

Unless otherwise specified, wooden products should not be placed in dishwashers, submerged in water, or exposed to prolonged moisture, excessive heat, or extreme environmental conditions.

Only products specifically identified as suitable for food contact should be used for serving or holding food.

Customers should not assume that every wooden bowl is suitable for food use.

Improper care may result in damage, including warping, cracking, discoloration, or deterioration of the finish.

10. Product Safety

Desert Wind Limited strives to provide products that are suitable for their described purposes.

Customers are responsible for using products according to their intended function and accompanying care instructions.

Decorative items should not be used for food service unless specifically designated for that purpose.

Products are not intended as children's toys unless expressly identified as such.

11. Original Designs and Intellectual Property

All original product designs, photographs, written descriptions, logos, and website content created by Desert Wind Limited are the property of Desert Wind Limited, LLC, or their respective rights holders.

These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, or used without appropriate permission, except as permitted by law.

Purchasing a physical product does not transfer intellectual property rights associated with its original design.

12. Product Photography and Promotional Use

Desert Wind Limited may photograph its products and use those photographs for website listings, portfolios, social media, advertising, and other promotional purposes.

For future custom or personalized projects, we will seek appropriate permission before publicly sharing customer-identifying information or personal details.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Desert Wind Limited is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, improper care, unauthorized modifications, or use inconsistent with a product's stated purpose.
